Keller International attempts to ship within 3 business days after your order is
placed upon availability. Whenever possible, we will ship via UPS. Some
products are too large or heavy for UPS and will require contracting a Freight
Carrier. Freight costs are the responsibility of the customer. (Ask for a
quotation when you talk with the Sales Representative). Or we will contact with
the shipping charge if you place your order online. The products you order are
available from stock - please allow 4 to 7 business days for delivery for UPS
items. Trucking items please allow 4-10 business days for delivery.
When the items you ordered appear "FREE S&H", the shipping is built into
the price, and you will not be charged for shipping with your purchase. When
the items you ordered appears " PLUS SHIPPING", the shipping is not built into
our prices, therefore we will have to bill you the proper amount for the
freight. The freight charges depend on where you are located and the weight of
the merchandise. When you check out, the freight would not be included in the
total amount. We will contact you as soon as possible with a freight quote. If
you agree, we will then add the charge to your order. Because we ship large
volumes of freight we pass our exact low costs on you. We will get you the best
price! We charge no handling fee and pass on the exact shipping costs! Note:
commercial delivery is the standard quote. If you need residential delivery,
additional charges will be added. Inside delivery is not available for all
shipments.
Some explanation for Trucking terms:
1) Commercial Delivery - delivery to industrial, or commercial address capable
of receiving 52' tractor-trailer truck, typically with loading dock but not
necessary. Our pallets usually consist of smaller items, which are just plastic
stretch wrapped together making it easy to unload by individual pieces.
2) Residential Delivery - Zoned residential address delivery,
typically a residential delivery requires the use of a smaller carting company
truck, because of road weight limits, commercial truck restrictions, or
residential community. In this case the trucking company will automatically
reclassify your shipment and add a residential delivery charge.
3) Tailgate Delivery- the product is placed at the tailgate of the
tractor-trailer.
4) Liftgate Delivery - Driver will lower the shipment to the ground with a
liftgate. They will only place the product curbside, not in the business or
garage. For your convenience, most shipments are arranged with liftgate service
, and your shipping quote will include this service. However, if tailgate
delivery is the only option in your area, we will notify you in advance.
